1. Purpose:

 

The purpose of this Policy is to provide a clear and straightforward process for registered students and/or parents (hereinafter referred to as “Student/Parent”) who are currently enrolled with Coderu Education Technology and who wish to request a refund for a course or program offered by Coderu Education Technology.

 

2. Scope:

 

At Coderu Education Technology, we have a 100% refund policy for unused credits/classes as per the payment plan. This means that Students/Parents who are not satisfied with their course or program for any reason can request a refund if they meet the eligibility criteria as set by Coderu Education Technology.

 

3. Eligibility:

To be eligible for a refund, Students/Parents must meet the following criteria:

 

   I. They must have successfully enrolled in a course or program offered by Coderu Education Technology.

 

   II. They must not have completed the course or program.

 

   III. They must request a refund within 30 (thirty) days of the commencement of the 1st class of the registered course or program (hereinafter referred to as “First Class Date”).

 

   IV. Their enrollment must not be terminated by Coderu Education Technology for a cause, including but not limited to, violation of the code of conduct, violation of the enrollment policy, breach of trust, or any other behavior that Coderu Education Technology considers to be disruptive or harmful to other Students/Parents or staff.

4. Request Process:

 

To request a refund, Students/Parents must follow the steps outlined below:

 

   I. Submit a written request: Students/Parents must submit a written request for a refund only post adhering to each of the sub-criteria (I, II, III, IV) of Clause 3 (Eligibility) as defined above in this Policy by dropping an email at care@coderu.com, to Coderu Education Technology. The written request must include the Student's full name, contact information, and course or program information along with the application form filled at the time of enrollment (hereinafter referred to as “Refund Request”).

 

   II. It is further clarified that no refunds shall be processed for the refund request made after 30 (thirty) days from the First Class Date.

 

   III. Confirmation of receipt: Coderu Education Technology will acknowledge receipt of the refund request within 72 (seventy-two) hours.

 

   IV. Review and processing: Coderu Education Technology will review the refund request and, if the Student/Parent is eligible for a refund, process the refund within 10-15 business days.

 

5. Refund Amount:

 

   I. The amount of the refund shall be equal to the net of the classes attended till the date of the Refund Request by the Student/Parent for the course enrolled, deducting Refund Processing Charges (if any).

 

   II. In case the Student/Parent has opted to pay in installments, Coderu Education Technology shall deduct an additional 7% (seven percent) (subject to change and varies as banks change their lending rates) hereinafter referred to as “Bank’s Refund Processing Charge”). The Bank’s Refund Processing Charge shall be deducted from the refundable amount due to the Student/Parent.

 

   III. Coderu Education Technology reserves the right to modify the Refund Processing Charge and Bank’s Refund Processing Charge or the refund payment terms, in its sole discretion, due to any other circumstances, including but not limited to changes in bank policies or government regulations.

 

6. Refund Process Mode:

 

Refunds will be made in the original form of payment, unless the Student/Parent requests otherwise. If the original form of payment is no longer available, Coderu Education Technology will shift or credit to a different form of payment as agreed with the Student/Parent.

 

7. Acknowledgment from the Student/Parent:

 

The Student/Parent also acknowledges that Coderu Education Technology shall not be liable for any delay in the refund process caused by circumstances beyond Coderu Education Technology's control, such as banking or payment gateway delays, and the Student/Parent shall have no right to claim any interest, penalty, or compensation for such delays.

 

8. Miscellaneous:

 

The refund policy is applicable only for the paid class credits. It is not applicable to any class credits earned via referrals or any class credits gifted by Coderu Education Technology. 

 

Coderu Education Technology shall not be liable for any delay in the refund process caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as banking or payment gateway delays, and the Student/Parent shall have no right to claim any interest, penalty, or compensation for such delays.
